A brand new formula from the L’Iris de Fath Extract.
At the center of attention is the Iris, with its powdery, woody, and violet-like flower facets, produced using Firmenich’s Orriscience technology. Through this advanced process, the development of Irone within the Rhizomes is optimized. Thus, by steam distillation, an Iris “butter” or Concrete is created, achieving up to 75% Irone for near-perfect Rhizome representation.
L’Iris de Fath – L’eau de Parfum begins with fresh top notes of Violet Leaf Absolute, Bergamot, and Peach, creating a gentle, green brightness softened by subtle fruitiness. As it evolves, the heart introduces a lush blend of Iris Butter, Egyptian Jasmine Absolute, Turkish Rose Absolute, and Violet, mingling with the floral warmth of Lilac, Carnation, and Ylang-ylang. This middle layer adds a complex floral richness that feels soft and layered. Finally, the base reveals earthy Bourbon Vetiver, smooth Benzoin, and sweet Tonka Bean, with Musk lending a soft depth that lingers on the skin.

“For the Extrait we organized a competition among perfumers, but for the Eau de Parfum, Patrice Revillard, who had achieved a beautiful work on the extract, was alone. The challenge was to seduce another audience without disappointing the aficionados of the original,” explains Rania Naim, Creative Director of Jacques Fath Parfums.
“It seemed natural to me to introduce contemporary ingredients into a formula, even for a historical perfume. After all, musicians perform seventeenth-century music scores with today’s instruments without distorting the music in the slightest,” explains perfumer Patrice Revillard.
